Terms and Conditions

You must be at least 13 years old to use Step Tracker, or at least 16 where local law sets a higher age. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

Step Tracker counts your daily steps using your phone's built-in step-counting hardware, and shows you your distance, calories, active time, daily goal and history.

You can use the app as a guest, or sign in to keep your history synced across devices. You can optionally connect Apple Health or Health Connect so your count also includes steps recorded by a watch or fitness band.

Step Tracker is a general fitness and wellbeing app. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.

Nothing in the app is medical advice. Do not rely on it for any medical purpose. Before starting or changing an exercise programme, and particularly if you are pregnant, have a heart condition or any other health concern, speak to a qualified healthcare professional.

If you feel unwell while exercising, stop and seek medical attention.

Step counts come from the motion sensors in your phone, and from any health app or device you choose to connect. They are estimates. Distance, calories and active time are calculated from your step count and any profile details you provide, and are estimates too.

Counts can be affected by where you carry your phone, how you move, your device's hardware, and the accuracy of any other app or device you connect. We do not guarantee that the figures shown are exact.

You can use Step Tracker without an account. In guest mode your data stays on your device, and will be lost if you uninstall the app or reset your device.

If you create an account, you are responsible for the activity that takes place under it and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. Tell us at support@suratfit.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app.

Step Tracker offers optional paid subscriptions, which remove advertising from the app. Subscriptions are offered as auto-renewable weekly, monthly and yearly plans. The length, price and any free trial for each plan are shown in the app before you confirm your purchase, and prices may vary by country and promotional offer.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.

If a free trial is offered and you subscribe during it, any unused part of the trial is forfeited when the paid subscription begins.

You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your App Store account settings on iPhone, or your Google Play subscriptions on Android. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until that period ends.

Purchases are made through Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them under their own policies. We are not able to issue refunds for purchases made through the app stores directly.

Step Tracker shows advertising to users who are not subscribed. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements, or for any site or service an advertisement links to.

You agree not to use Step Tracker to break the law; to interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app, our servers or another user's account; to reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app except where the law expressly allows it; to submit false step data or otherwise manipulate the service; or to upload content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringes anyone's rights.

You keep ownership of any content you add, such as a profile picture. By adding it, you give us permission to store and display it for the purpose of operating the app for you. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it for any other purpose.

The Step Tracker app, its name, logo, design and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms do not give you any right to use our branding without our written permission.

Step Tracker works with third-party services including Google, Apple, Microsoft and RevenueCat, and may link to third-party sites. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services, and we are not responsible for them.

We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the app or any part of it. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available or uninterrupted.

You may stop using Step Tracker at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, or where we are required to by law.

Step Tracker is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Surat, Gujarat, India will have jurisdiction, except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
